A bit of poetry! Drukuj
Hi there! This time we're having something different - a bit of poetry :) We're not open to just one kind of writing, so if you have anything to say or would like to express yourself, share it with us, don't be shy :) the only condition (apart from being decent, of course) is to write in English. If you're still not convinced, read two poems by Rio and see how easy the good writing comes.

XXX ; Fear is the mind-killer
my father told me yesterday
don't believe the truth
you don't need to blame
your eyes and colours that you hear
with gentle mind and closed fear
so you were brave
if you thought we were always safe
isn't it a shame
i take your way away
the town's crying
empty streets
and empty hearts
which don't prefer to beat
i seldom wonder how it is to have
new hope that comes around
and you were brave
and thought we were always safe
isn't it a shame
i take your way away
just take away

XXX 2
i spent all my time waiting for nothing
like a devil who cannot lure the angel at all
i lost a confidence learning my pain to be soothing
and playing with myself which led me to fall
you need many ways to look behind, not moving up, you see
but if the darkness is so hopeless, so obvious as we
i just want the light to be healthful, to be open for me
i spent all my life trying to go nowhere
looking for the answer in this cloudy sky at night
i spoke with no words, no thoughts, feelings so severe
and watching new pathways that avoided me, so right
you need many road signs to turn back, as you can see
but if the darkness is so impatient, so shallow as we
i just want the light to be healthful, to be open for me
maybe i prefer a thinker, not a talker
geared to getting me a message with all my sentences to feel free
but remember, if the darkness is so close, so high as we
i just want the light to be healthful, to be open for me
